Working With Us

  • Business Confidentiality

The first step of this process is to sign an NDA (non disclosure agreement). This ensures that you are protected, whether you have intellectual property you wish to protect or sensitive company data.

  • Scoping

The scoping process is essentially requirements gathering. We will work with you to get an understanding of the issue you are looking to solve along with any further opportunities or challenges that might be faced.

Whether you are a start-up or a small-medium sized business, software exists to make our lives easier and produce output. The requirements gathering process is very important as it will determine the duration and cost of the overall project.

  • Proposal/Estimation

Once we have a firm grasp of your requirements we will work on a proposal. Our proposal will have clear itemised breakdowns of the various modules required for the implementation along with estimated timeframes for delivery. We will also outline all project inclusions including optional add-ons such as ongoing support.

  • UI and UX design

The UI/UX design phase is a key part of the project as it will determine the look and feel of the application we develop for you. This process is about understanding the key stakeholders of the system and translating the requirements into an interactive wireframe.

By using the interactive wireframe, we can refine the system to ensure that the user experience is first class. Once the wireframes are completed we’ll move onto the UI design where things like colours, branding, animation, effects are all put together to create the look of the final product.

  • Software Development

Software development involves writing the actual code for the system. This process involves database design, system design and coding. Our coding process is very interactive because we work on fortnightly sprints and always aim to get testable builds in your hands at the end of each sprint. This ensures that the project stays on track and progress can be tracked easily.

  • Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing

QA and testing is a very important part of the software development lifecycle. This process ensures that the product delivered is functional as per project requirements and is free from bugs.

Testing is not something that is done after all the code is written – it is a continuous process that we engage in during each sprint cycle. We conduct various testing to ensure the end product is of high quality and fit for purpose. This includes functional testing, performance testing, usability testing and security testing.

  • Launch/Deployment

The launch process for a product involves a few different things. The first main step is deploying the backend for the system onto appropriate server architecture. Depending on the complexity of the cloud architecture for the project, this will involve various network level configurations such as load balancing, firewalls, SSL certificates and so on.

In the case of mobile apps, we will submit these for review by Apple and Google prior to being approved for release on the App Store and Play Store respectively. If you have a landing page for your product, this will be deployed as well and considerations made for SEO.

  • Ongoing Support

The story doesn’t end once your product is launched! Supporting the product as well as your future customers is very important. This can involve ongoing fixes, maintenance, server updates, security audits and so on. The best products today owe their success to the continuous support and upgrades they receive over time.
